In 1957, a visionary artist and entrepreneur, Mr. Dimitri Apokatanidis, embarked on a remarkable journey when he immigrated to Canada.
Mr. Apokatanidis began his career by creating custom frames for artworks. He believed that art should not only be admired but also beautifully showcased in homes. His decorative frames breathed life into countless pieces of art, allowing people to hang their passions on their walls.
The Birth of Apollon
In 1967, Mr. Dimitri Apokatanidis took his passion for art and craftsmanship to the next level by founding Apollon. The first store was established in Montreal, and it quickly became a hub for artists, art enthusiasts, and anyone who appreciated the beauty of creative expression.
As the years passed, Apollon experienced remarkable growth, driven by Mr. Dimitri Apokatanidis's dedication to quality and his keen eye for artistry. It was a place where art and innovation converged, and where artisans and creators found inspiration.
A Generation Transition
The legacy of Apollon continued to flourish when Mr. Dimitri Apokatanidis passed the torch to his son, Mr. Costa Apokatanidis. Under his leadership, Apollon underwent a transformative shift in its operations, expanding beyond custom framing.
Transitioning to the production of artist canvases, Apollon viewed this new venture as a vast opportunity for creativity and growth.
